Document Camera Use

The document camera has been very useful in the Art Classes at Central HS. Ms. Grear uses the camera to display artwork on the screen for critique and reproduction. It is very useful for providing guided practice as the teacher can interactively draw and demonstrate "real-time" as she instructs and the students draw.

PBIS

We have a program named PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports). Our PBIS team consists of administrators, teachers, counselors and our PPW. We explore interventions using technology. We produce weekly television spots showcasing students demonstrating respect, responsiblity and personal integrity. Students are excited to recieve Falcon Bucks which are electronically generated using PhontoShop and printed in our technology lab. Teachers award Falcon Bucks that are given to students a redeemed at our PBIS store on Fridays. Students can buy school supplies, treats or save there Bucks for more expensive items.
